- 21+ for Alcohol. Red Star Social is BYOB. You must be 21 years of age or older with a valid ID to bring and consume alcoholic beverages on the premises.
- Respect All Members and Staff. Treat everyone with courtesy and respect. Verbal abuse, threats, intimidation, harassment, or discriminatory behavior of any kind will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal and potential ban from the club.
- No Violence. Physical altercations or threats of violence are strictly prohibited. Anyone involved in a physical altercation will be immediately removed and permanently banned. Law enforcement will be contacted as necessary.
- No Illegal Activity. Illegal activity of any kind is strictly prohibited on the premises. Red Star Social cooperates fully with law enforcement.
- Responsible Drinking. Members who appear intoxicated may be asked to leave. Staff have the authority to refuse entry or ask any member to depart if they believe the member is impaired. Drink responsibly.
- No Smoking Indoors. Smoking is not permitted inside the club. A designated smoking area is available outside. This includes e-cigarettes and vaping devices.
- Personal Property. Red Star Social is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Keep your belongings secure at all times.
- Management Authority. The decisions of Red Star Social management and staff are final. Management reserves the right to refuse entry, revoke membership, or remove any person from the premises at any time, for any reason.
Poker Table Etiquette
The following rules apply to all poker games at Red Star Social. These are in place to ensure fair play and a pleasant experience for all players at the table.
- No Phones at the Table During Active Hands. When you are involved in a hand, your phone must be put away. You may not use your phone to record, photograph, or stream any part of an active hand. Between hands, phone use is permitted.
- One Player to a Hand. Each player must make their own decisions. You may not consult with, advise, or receive advice from any other person while involved in a hand.
- English Only at the Table. English is the only language permitted at the table during active play to ensure fairness for all players.
- Protect Your Hand. It is your responsibility to protect your cards at all times. If your hand is fouled or mucked due to insufficient protection, it is dead.
- Cards Must Stay on the Table. Cards must remain visible on the table at all times. Do not remove cards from the table or hold them below table level.
- Verbal Actions are Binding. Any verbal declaration (bet, raise, call, fold, all-in) is binding. Speak clearly and ensure the dealer and other players can hear you.
- Act in Turn. Always act in your proper turn. Acting out of turn may affect other players' decisions and may result in your action being binding.
- No Slow Rolling. When you have the winning hand at showdown, reveal your cards promptly. Deliberately delaying is considered poor etiquette.
- Chip Stacks Must Be Visible. Keep your chips in neat, visible stacks. Your largest denomination chips must be at the front of your stack where other players can see them.
- No Rabbit Hunting. You may not ask the dealer to reveal what cards would have come if the hand ended early, unless table consensus agrees.
Floor Decisions Are Final
If a dispute arises at the table, the floor manager will be called to make a ruling. All floor decisions are final. Continued argument after a ruling will result in a penalty.
BYOB Rules
Red Star Social allows members to bring their own beverages. The following rules apply to BYOB privileges.
- 21+ for Alcohol. You must be 21 years old with valid ID. Staff may check ID at any time.
- No Glass at Tables. For safety, glass bottles and glasses are not permitted at the poker tables. Transfer drinks to plastic cups available at the bar area.
- Drink Responsibly. Staff reserve the right to cut off or remove any member who appears intoxicated.
- Clean Up After Yourself. Please dispose of your bottles, cans, and cups properly. Keep the club clean for everyone.
- No Sharing with Minors. Providing alcohol to anyone under 21 is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and a permanent ban.
